DTH Drilling Equipment Working Process
The rock drilling principle of a down-the-hole drill machine is the same as a heavy-duty rock drill rig. The difference is that the impact mechanism of the down-the-hole drill – a down-the-hole impactor. It is installed at the front end of the drill rod, and at the bottom of the manhole. The piston directly impacts the drill bit and continues to advance as the drilling extends. So the DTH drilling machine got its name from the bottom of the impactor DTH.
In the drilling rig, the impact mechanism piston completed the impact action of the impact drill bit. The metallurgical equipment swing mechanism realizes the rotation action. And the pressure regulating mechanism completes the adjustment of the propulsion force to efficiently complete the drilling work. The operating mechanism controls various actions. DTH Drilling Rig Power Configuration
